Starkstrom has completed a considerable control room upgrade for a client who has placed their trust in our company to deliver. The control room, prior to the upgrade, had over 38 discrete starters with poor feedback and a 415 V ac control circuit. Starkstrom introduced a much safer 24 V dc control circuit to all pushbuttons and front of door equipment. The 38 discrete starters were changed into three control panels with a logical pushbutton order allocated. Also as part of the project the old fuse-boards were replaced with MCCB boards and MCB distribution boards.
